Karndean’s Range Of Apps

Posted on: 3rd October 2014

When you are redecorating a room in your house choosing the right flooring to use can be difficult. To help make the process easier, one of our suppliers, Karndean, has come up with new and interesting ways that people can view their products. They have launched a number of different apps that we are impressed with and recommend using whatever the size of your project.

Personal projects for homeowners

One of Karndean's most impressive apps is their ‘Virtual Floor Fitting’ app. This makes use of Augmented Reality, allowing you to trial their products in your own home before you make your selection. The app, which works on iPads and iPhones, tracks the floor of your room and allows you to replace it with any flooring from their product range - it is a great tool and we recommend that you give it a try.

Larger projects for architects and designers

If you are looking to purchase flooring as part of a larger project, such as a full-scale renovation or the construction of a whole new building, Karndean has recently launched a brand new app specifically for interior designers and architects. This app, their ‘Virtual Product Selector’, allows you to view the full product range that Karndean has to offer up close, complete with full technical specifications. This is a great way of showcasing designs and demonstrating different ideas, find out more by clicking here.
