Treading the Boards: Our Part in the Norwich Playhouse Refurbishment

Posted on: 6th September 2017

After a brief run as a repertory theatre in the mid-1990s, Norwich playhouse reopened as a venue for touring acts in January 2000. Since then, the theatre has hosted more than 3500 performances. Understandably, this has had an impact on the upholstery and the carpets! This summer, Norwich playhouse closed briefly for a refurbishment and Reform Flooring won the contract to install all the new carpets.

Venue Revamp

The £70,000 revamp of the venue on St George’s Street in Norwich was funded by the Theatre Royal Trust as part of a series of investments in the infrastructure at all three venues run by the Trust.
